    From downtown Yonkers, walk to the Yonkers Public Library at 1 Larkin Center. Take the #1 bus towards 'Riverdale' and get off at the stop at 'Palisade Ave & E 4th St' (approximately 20 minutes). From there, transfer to the #166 bus towards 'Palisades Park' and get off at 'Hudson Ave & S Maple Ave' (approximately 15 minutes). The Tenafly Nature Center will be a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

    Head to the Yonkers Metro-North Train Station. Take the train on the Hudson Line towards 'Poughkeepsie' and get off at the 'Tarrytown' station (approximately 15 minutes). From Tarrytown, walk to the bus stop and catch the #20 bus towards 'New Jersey' and get off at 'River Vale' (approximately 25 minutes). Finally, transfer to the #166 bus towards 'Palisades Park' and disembark at 'Hudson Ave & S Maple Ave' (approximately 10 minutes). Walk 5 minutes to reach the Tenafly Nature Center.
