From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North Station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Harlem-125th Street station. Transfer to the 2 or 3 subway line towards downtown Manhattan. Ride until you reach the 72nd Street station. From there, walk east on West 72nd Street until you reach Central Park West, then turn left and walk north until you reach East 79th Street. The Turtle Pond is located at the intersection of East 79th Street and 5th Avenue.

From any location in Yonkers, find the nearest bus stop that serves the Bee-Line Bus Service. Take the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan. The bus will take you across the Bronx and drop you off at various stops in Manhattan. Get off at the stop closest to Central Park, such as the 5th Avenue & East 79th Street stop. From there, walk south a short distance to find the entrance to Central Park, where the Turtle Pond is located.

If you're already in South Yonkers, you can walk towards the nearest Metro-North station (Yonkers or Glenwood). Once at the station, board a train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. After arriving in Manhattan, exit the station and walk east towards 5th Avenue. Continue walking north on 5th Avenue until you reach East 79th Street. The Central Park Turtle Pond will be on your left side as you enter the park.
