Public Transit - Metro North Railroad
From anywhere in Yonkers, make your way to the Yonkers Metro North Station. You can take local buses or walk, depending on your location. Purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and follow the signs to the subway. Take the 7 train towards Flushing, and get off at Times Square-42nd Street station. Exit the station and you will be in Times Square.
Public Transit - Bus
Locate a nearby bus stop and take the Bee-Line Bus #1 or #2 towards the White Plains Transit Center. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the White Plains Transit Center, transfer to the Metro North train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. After arriving at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 7 train and take it to Times Square-42nd Street station. Exit the subway station to find yourself in Times Square.
Walking
If you are close enough to the Yonkers waterfront, you can enjoy a scenic walk along the Hudson River. Head towards the River Walk and follow it north until you reach the Yonkers Metro North Station. From there, take the Metro North to Grand Central Terminal, then switch to the 7 train and get off at Times Square-42nd Street station.
