    From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station located at 1 Alexander St. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Grand Central Terminal. Once there, follow the signs to the subway station and take the 7 train towards Flushing. Get off at the 34th Street - Hudson Yards station and transfer to the A, C, or E subway lines towards Manhattan. Once on the A or C line, head to the West 4th Street station, which is the closest stop to the West Village.

    From the Yonkers downtown area, catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 at the bus stop on Main Street. This bus will take you directly to the Bronx, where you can transfer to the D train at 205th Street station. Take the D train towards Brooklyn and get off at West 4th Street station.
