Getting There

• Public Transit

  From Yonkers, make your way to the Yonkers Metro-North train station located at 1 Alexander Street, Yonkers, NY. You can walk there from various points in the city. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Grand Central, exit the station and head towards the 42nd Street exit. Once outside, you can walk to Greene Street, which is located in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. It's about a 15-minute walk. Head south on Park Avenue, then turn left onto 42nd Street. Continue walking until you reach 6th Avenue, then turn right. Follow 6th Avenue to the intersection with Greene Street, where you will find Greene Street.

• Bus

  Begin your journey at the Yonkers City Hall Bus Terminal located at 40 South Broadway, Yonkers, NY. Look for the Bee-Line Bus service, specifically the BxM4C express bus bound for Manhattan. This bus will take you directly to Manhattan, and you should get off at the stop near 42nd Street and 6th Avenue. From there, it's a short walk to Greene Street. Head west on 42nd Street, then turn left onto 6th Avenue and proceed to Greene Street, which is just a few blocks away.

• Walking

  If you are already in Yonkers and prefer to walk, you can start from the Yonkers waterfront at the Pier. Walk north along the Hudson River waterfront promenade until you reach the Yonkers Metro-North train station. From there, follow the previously mentioned directions to take the train to Manhattan, or if you prefer to continue walking, head west towards the bus terminal and catch a bus as described above.
