Getting There

  • Bus

    Start your journey at the Auckland Central Bus Station. Take the bus number 81 towards Birkenhead. The bus will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Birkenhead Avenue / Colonial Road' stop. From there, walk down Colonial Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to Chelsea Estate Heritage Park on your right.

  • Ferry

    Head to the Auckland Ferry Terminal located at Quay Street. Take the ferry to Birkenhead (Northcote Point ferry). The ferry ride takes about 12 minutes. Once you arrive at the Birkenhead ferry terminal, exit and walk towards Birkenhead Avenue. Turn left onto Birkenhead Avenue, then take a right onto Colonial Road. The park entrance will be on your left after a short 15-minute walk.
