Bus
From Auckland's Central Business District (CBD), walk to the nearest bus stop at Victoria Street West. Take the bus number 27 towards Birkenhead. The bus will take you across the Auckland Harbour Bridge. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Birkenhead War Memorial Hall'. From there, walk down Birkenhead Avenue towards the waterfront. Continue straight onto Council Terrace, and you will arrive at Little Shoal Bay Reserve within 10 minutes.

Make your way to the Auckland Ferry Terminal located at 99 Quay Street. Take the ferry to Birkenhead. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Birkenhead Wharf, exit the ferry terminal and walk along the waterfront towards the main road (Birkenhead Avenue). Turn left and walk along Birkenhead Avenue for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Council Terrace. Turn right onto Council Terrace, and you'll find Little Shoal Bay Reserve shortly after.
