Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start at the Auckland Central Bus Station located at 102 Hobson Street. From here, take the bus route 18 towards Piha. Make sure to check the current timetable to catch the next bus. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the 'Piha Domain' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards Piha Road.

  • Walking

    After getting off the bus at Piha Domain, walk south along Piha Road. Continue walking for about 15 minutes (1.2 km) until you reach Log Race Road. Turn left onto Log Race Road and follow it for about 600 meters. Hinerangi Pou will be on your left at 2/20 Log Race Road.

    Alternatively, you can take a train from Auckland to Glen Eden Station. From Glen Eden Station, transfer to the 151 bus that goes to Piha. Disembark at 'Piha Domain' and follow the same walking directions as above.
