Once you arrive at the Karekare Beach stop, exit the bus and walk towards La Trobe Track, which is directly accessible from the beach area. Follow La Trobe Track for about 15 minutes, and you will reach Karekare Waterfall.

    Make your way to Britomart Transport Centre in Auckland Central. Take the train on the Western Line towards Swanson. Get off at the Swanson station. From there, catch the 120 bus towards Karekare. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Karekare Beach stop.
