From Auckland Central, walk to the SkyCity Bus Terminal located at 102 Hobson St. Take the 150 bus heading towards Karekare. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Karekare Beach stop, exit the bus and walk towards La Trobe Track, which is directly accessible from the beach area. Follow La Trobe Track for about 15 minutes, and you will reach Karekare Waterfall.

Train and Bus
Make your way to Britomart Transport Centre in Auckland Central. Take the train on the Western Line towards Swanson. Get off at the Swanson station. From there, catch the 120 bus towards Karekare. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Karekare Beach stop. From the beach, follow La Trobe Track for approximately 15 minutes to reach Karekare Waterfall.

If you are staying in the Karekare area, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Karekare Waterfall. Start at the Karekare Beach and follow the signs towards La Trobe Track.
