Get off at the 'Mission Bay' stop, which is located at the intersection of Tamaki Drive and Patteson Avenue. From there, walk towards the beach by heading south on Tamaki Drive. You'll see the beach in front of you in a few minutes.

If you are near the Auckland Domain, you can walk towards Mission Bay. Start from the Auckland Domain entrance and head down towards the city, following the signs to Parnell Road.
