Getting There

  • Bus

    If you're starting from Auckland Central, head to the nearest bus stop and take the bus number 66 or 77, which heads towards Epsom. After about 20-30 minutes, get off at the stop on Manukau Road near the Stardome Observatory & Planetarium. You will see the observatory across the street. It's a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Train

    From Auckland Central, take the Southern Line train from Britomart Station towards Papakura. Get off at the Greenlane Station. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk. Head south on Greenlane West, then turn left onto Manukau Road. Continue straight for about a 1 km until you reach Stardome Observatory & Planetarium.
