Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Blenheim town center, specifically at the corner of Alfred Street and Market Street, which is a popular gathering point. From there, head south on Alfred Street until you reach the intersection with Scott Street. Turn left onto Scott Street and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the intersection with Ward Street, turn right. McKendry Park is located on your left at 15C Ward Street. The park is easily recognizable with its green space and seating areas.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer to use public transport, head to the Blenheim Bus Station located on the corner of Charles Street and Alfred Street. Take the bus service that heads towards Springlands. The journey will take about 10 minutes. You will want to get off at the Ward Street stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance back toward the direction you came from, and you will find McKendry Park at 15C Ward Street on your left.

• Cycling

  If you're cycling, start from the Blenheim town center and head south on Alfred Street. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Scott Street. Continue straight until you hit Ward Street, and then turn right. McKendry Park will be on your left at 15C Ward Street. The ride is relatively flat and should take around 5-10 minutes depending on your speed.
