The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk across the road and enter the Botanic Gardens, which is directly in front of you. The entrance is well marked.

    If you are already in the Christchurch Central City area, you can walk to the Botanic Gardens. Start at Cathedral Square, head southwest on Worcester Boulevard for about 10 minutes until you reach Rolleston Avenue. Turn left on Rolleston Avenue and continue straight for another 5 minutes. The Botanic Gardens entrance will be on your left.

    From Cathedral Square, take the Christchurch Tram towards the Botanic Gardens. The tram ride takes about 10 minutes, and you will need to disembark at the 'Botanic Gardens' stop. The Gardens are just a short walk from the tram stop, with the entrance clearly visible.
