Walking
Start your journey at the Dunedin Railway Station, which is a central and easily recognizable landmark. From the station, head north on Anzac Avenue towards the Octagon. Turn right onto George Street and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Eglinton Road. Turn left onto Eglinton Road and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through a residential area, and the road will begin to incline as you approach Mornington. Look for the signs directing you towards Unity Park Lookout. The lookout is located at 116 Eglinton Road, Mornington, and will be on your left.

Begin at the Dunedin Railway Station and take the bus service number 9 (Mornington). The bus stop is located on the corner of Anzac Avenue and the station. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride; it will take approximately 20 minutes to reach Mornington. Request a stop at Eglinton Road, Mornington. From the bus stop, walk approximately 300 meters down Eglinton Road towards the lookout, which is located at 116 Eglinton Road. Look for the signs indicating the Unity Park Lookout.
