If you are starting from the Dunedin Railway Station, exit the station and head northwest on Anzac Avenue towards the Octagon. Continue straight onto Princes Street. After about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km), you will reach 365 Princes Street, where the Horse Mural is located. The mural is on the side of a building, so keep an eye out for it as you approach.

From the Octagon, you can catch the bus number 7 or 8 that travels along Princes Street. Board the bus at the bus stop on George Street near the Octagon. Stay on the bus for about 5-10 minutes and get off at the stop closest to 365 Princes Street. The Horse Mural is just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in the city. Start from the Octagon and head south on Princes Street.
