Walking
If you are starting from the Octagon, head southeast on George Street towards Moray Place. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Princes Street. Turn right onto Princes Street and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The i-SITE Visitor Information Centre will be on your left at 23 The Octagon, Dunedin. This is where the Dunedin Literary Walking Tours begin.

Public Transport
From the Dunedin Railway Station, walk to the nearest bus stop on Anzac Avenue. Catch the bus number 1, 2, or 3 heading towards the city center. Disembark at the stop near the Octagon, which should take about 10 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk towards George Street and follow the directions to the i-SITE Visitor Information Centre at 23 The Octagon.

If you are cycling from the University of Otago, head north on Cumberland Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with George Street. Turn right onto George Street and cycle towards the Octagon. Once you reach the Octagon, you will find the i-SITE Visitor Information Centre on your left at 23 The Octagon, where the Dunedin Literary Walking Tours start.
