Walking
If you are starting from the Octagon, head east along George Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Moray Place. Turn left onto Moray Place and walk until you reach the intersection with Princes Street. Turn right onto Princes Street and continue walking until you reach the Queens Gardens. The Imperial Buildings will be located at 18 Queens Gardens on your left-hand side.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Octagon, catch bus number 3 or 4 towards North Dunedin. Disembark at the stop on Princes Street near the intersection with Rattray Street. From there, walk down Princes Street towards the Queens Gardens. The Imperial Buildings are at 18 Queens Gardens, just a short walk ahead on your left.

Starting at the Dunedin Railway Station, exit the station and head west on Anzac Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Great King Street. Cross the intersection and continue walking on Anzac Avenue, which becomes Moray Place. Turn right onto Princes Street and proceed until you reach the Queens Gardens. The Imperial Buildings are located at 18 Queens Gardens on your left.
