If you are starting from the Octagon, head southeast on George Street towards St. Andrew Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rattray Street. Turn right onto Rattray Street and walk for about 3 minutes. St. Joseph's Cathedral will be on your left, at the corner of Rattray Street and Smith Street.

From the Octagon, catch the bus on George Street, heading towards the Central Bus Station. Get off at the stop on Rattray Street, just after the intersection with Smith Street. Walk 2 minutes back towards the corner and you will see St. Joseph's Cathedral at the intersection of Rattray and Smith Streets.
