Walking
If you are in the Gisborne city center, start at the Gisborne i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 22 Grey Street. Head east on Grey Street towards the intersection with Childers Road. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Childers Road. Walk straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see The Aviary located at 38 Childers Road on your right-hand side, just past the intersection with Carnarvon Street. The shop is easily identifiable with its signage.
Public Transport
From the Gisborne city center, head to the nearest bus stop on Gladstone Road. Catch the bus heading towards Wainui Beach. Get off at the stop closest to Childers Road. Once you alight, walk towards Childers Road and turn left. Continue walking straight for about 300 meters, and The Aviary will be on your right at 38 Childers Road.
