Walking
If you are in Gisborne's city center, start at the Gisborne i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 209 Grey Street. From there, walk east on Grey Street toward the intersection with Wainui Road. Cross over to Wainui Road and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Esplanade. Turn left onto Esplanade. Continue walking along Esplanade for about 1.5 km. The Works will be located on your left at 41 Esplanade, Kaiti.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Gisborne city center, you can catch the local bus service that heads towards Kaiti. Look for the bus stop near the Gisborne i-SITE Visitor Centre at 209 Grey Street. Board the bus that is heading to Kaiti and inform the driver you want to get off at the nearest stop to The Works. The bus will take you along Wainui Road, and you should disembark at the stop closest to the intersection with Esplanade. From there, walk a short distance down Esplanade, and The Works will be on your left at 41 Esplanade, Kaiti.

If you prefer to bike, start at the Gisborne city center and head towards the waterfront. Follow the coastal bike path that leads you towards Kaiti. As you approach the Kaiti area, you will transition to Esplanade. Continue biking along Esplanade for about 1.5 km. The Works will be on your left at 41 Esplanade, Kaiti. There are bike racks available for parking your bike.
