If you are starting from the Frankton Shopping Centre, head southeast on Commerce Street towards the intersection with Grey Street. Turn right onto Grey Street and continue for about 1 kilometer. You will see the entrance to Hamilton Gardens on Hungerford Crescent on your left. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

From Frankton, you can take the bus number 20 or 21 from the Frankton Bus Terminal. Board the bus heading towards Hamilton East. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop closest to Hungerford Crescent. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of Hamilton Gardens. Bus fare is approximately NZD 3.50, and buses run frequently throughout the day.
