Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Frankton Village, head east on Commerce Street towards the intersection with Grantham Street. Continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and cafes which may be of interest. Once you reach Grantham Street, turn left and walk north for about 5 minutes. The Monument of The Waikato Chamber of Commerce will be on your right. Look for the historical landmark at Grantham Street, Hamilton Central, Hamilton 3204.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From Frankton, you can catch a bus heading towards Hamilton Central. Head to the nearest bus stop on Commerce Street. Buy a ticket from the driver (cost varies but typically around NZD 2-5). Once on the bus, request to stop at the Hamilton Central stop, which should take about 10 minutes. After disembarking, walk east on Victoria Street, then turn left onto Grantham Street. The Monument of The Waikato Chamber of Commerce will be on your left within a few minutes walk.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Frankton. Start by heading east on Commerce Street and then make your way to Grantham Street. It should take about 10 minutes to reach the monument. Riding is a great way to enjoy the surroundings, just be cautious of traffic, especially on Grantham Street.
