    From the Invercargill City Centre, head south on Dee Street towards the intersection with Kelvin Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection of Dee Street and Kelvin Street. Turn left onto Kelvin Street, and continue walking for about 5 minutes. He Waka Tuia will be on your left at 42 Kelvin Street. Look for the entrance with the sign.

    Catch the bus from Invercargill City Centre. Look for the bus stop on Dee Street and board a bus heading towards the Southland Museum. Inform the driver you wish to get off at the Kelvin Street stop. Once you disembark, walk a short distance south on Kelvin Street for about 3 minutes. He Waka Tuia will be located at 42 Kelvin Street on your left side.
