Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Invercargill, make your way to Esk Street. Head east until you reach the intersection with Dee Street. Turn right onto Dee Street and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you'll pass several shops and cafes, which make for great stops if you want to grab a bite or drink. Once you get to the intersection with Queens Drive, turn left. Continue on Queens Drive for about 500 meters, and you will see Queens Park on your left side. The entrance is marked with signs, and you can easily walk into the park.

    If you prefer to take a bus, head to the nearest bus stop in the city center, which is located near the Invercargill i-SITE on Don Street. Check the local bus schedule for the route heading towards Queens Park. Most buses heading in that direction will stop at various points along Queens Drive. You can get off at the stop nearest to the park entrance. After getting off the bus, walk a short distance to the park entrance, which you will see clearly marked.
