Walking
If you're starting from the Invercargill city centre, head south on Dee Street towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Tay Street (State Highway 1). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 km until you reach Queens Park. As you enter the park, follow the signs pointing towards the Aviary, which is located within the park. The Aviary is a short walk from the main entrance of the park.

Take the local bus service from the Invercargill city centre towards Queens Park. Buses depart regularly from the main bus terminal on Esk Street. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate times. Once you reach the Queens Park bus stop, get off and walk towards the park entrance. The Aviary is located within Queens Park, just a short walk from the entrance.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Invercargill. Start cycling south on Dee Street, then turn onto Tay Street (State Highway 1). After about 1.5 km, you will arrive at Queens Park. There are bike racks available near the Aviary entrance, allowing you to secure your bike while you explore the attraction.
