Walking
From Masterton town center, head east on Queen Street towards Chapel Street. Continue straight as it becomes Dixon Street. Walk for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with the State Highway 2. Cross the highway carefully at the pedestrian crossing. After crossing, continue on the footpath that runs parallel to the highway. You will see signs directing you to Solway Showgrounds. After about 1 km, turn left into Solway Road, and you will find the entrance to Solway Showgrounds on your right.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Masterton Intercity Bus Terminal, catch the bus route that goes towards Carterton. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Solway Showgrounds. Once you get off the bus, walk back towards Solway Road, which should be a short distance away. Follow Solway Road, and the Showgrounds will be on your left after a brief walk.
