Getting There

Walking
From the Napier i-SITE Visitor Centre, head south on Marine Parade towards Tennyson Street. Continue on Marine Parade for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Hastings Street. Turn left onto Hastings Street and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with State Highway 2 (SH2). Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight onto SH2. After approximately 900 meters, you will reach the entrance of the Hawke’s Bay Airport. From here, follow the signs to the lookout point, which is just a short walk up the path on your left. Enjoy the views!

Start at the Napier i-SITE Visitor Centre and walk to the nearest bus stop. Catch the bus number 12 or 14 towards Taradale. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop labeled 'Hawke’s Bay Airport'. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the airport entrance. Once inside, follow the path to the Hawke’s Bay Airport Lookout, which is located on the left side. The lookout offers stunning views of the surrounding area.
