Walking
Starting from the Paihia Wharf, head northeast along the waterfront promenade towards the Paihia Village area. Continue straight onto Marsden Road, which will lead you to the main road. Once you reach the intersection with School Road, turn left onto School Road. Follow School Road for about 800 meters until you see the entrance to Opua Forest on your right. The track entrance is clearly marked, and you will find a sign indicating the start of the Opua Forest Paihia Lookout Track.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Paihia Bus Stop, take the local bus service heading towards Opua. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to School Road. Upon disembarking, walk along School Road towards the entrance of Opua Forest. The entrance to the track will be on your left after approximately 400 meters. Look for the sign marking the start of the Opua Forest Paihia Lookout Track.

Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Paihia. Start your journey from the center of Paihia and head towards Marsden Road. Follow Marsden Road until you reach the intersection with School Road; turn left onto School Road. Continue cycling for about 800 meters until you see the entrance to Opua Forest on your right. The track entrance is well-marked.
