Walking
Start at the Paihia Wharf. Head east along Marsden Road until you reach the intersection with Selwyn Road. Turn left onto Selwyn Road and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. At the end of Selwyn Road, you will see a pathway that leads into the Opua Forest. Follow the signs for the Paihia School Road Track, which will take you through the forest and up to the lookout point.

From the Paihia Information Centre, head south on Williams Road towards the waterfront. Continue straight to merge onto Marsden Road. Walk until you reach Selwyn Road, then turn left. Follow Selwyn Road to its end and enter the Opua Forest. Keep an eye out for the Paihia School Road Track signs that will guide you to the Opua Forest Lookout.
