If you are starting from the Paihia Wharf, head east along the waterfront promenade. Enjoy the scenic views of the bay as you walk towards the main street, Marsden Road. Once you reach Marsden Road, turn left and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Look for the sign for Haka Lodge Bay of Islands on your right, just off Paihia Lanes. The entrance is located at Level 2/76 Marsden Road.

From Paihia's main bus stop, take the next available bus service that heads towards Waitangi or Russell. Inform the driver you need to get off near Marsden Road. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the waterfront and follow Marsden Road. Haka Lodge Bay of Islands is located at Level 2/76 Marsden Road, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you have access to a bicycle rental, start at Paihia Wharf and cycle along the waterfront path towards Marsden Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Paihia Lanes.
