From there, walk up Vaucluse Heights for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Stairway of Tane located at 10 Vaucluse Heights.

If you are starting from the city center, head northwest on The Square towards Victoria Avenue. Continue on Victoria Avenue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Fitzherbert Avenue. Turn left onto Fitzherbert Avenue, and after about 500 meters, turn right onto Vaucluse Heights. Walk up Vaucluse Heights for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Stairway of Tane at 10 Vaucluse Heights.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Palmerston North. Start your ride at The Square and head along Victoria Avenue. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Fitzherbert Avenue.
