If you are starting from the Palmerston North city centre, head east on The Square towards Church Street. Continue straight onto Victoria Avenue. After about 1 km, turn left onto Fitzherbert Avenue. Walk for another 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Napier Road. Cross Napier Road and continue walking along Fitzherbert Avenue until you reach the next intersection with Pioneer Highway. Turn right onto Pioneer Highway and continue for approximately 500 meters. Then, turn left onto the road leading to Carncott. The SWIFTMANTIS Mural is located in the area of Papaioea, Palmerston North 4414, just off this road. Look for the mural on the side of a building; it's quite large and hard to miss.

From the Palmerston North city centre, catch the bus from The Square. You can take the Manawatu Bus service that heads towards the suburb of Fitzherbert. Get off at the stop on Fitzherbert Avenue at the intersection with Pioneer Highway. From there, you will need to walk about 1 km west along Pioneer Highway.
