If you're driving from Nelson, take State Highway 60 south towards Motueka. After about 40 kilometers, you'll reach Motueka. Continue on State Highway 60 and follow the signs for Kaiteriteri. Once in Kaiteriteri, turn onto Kaiteriteri-Sandy Bay Road and then take a right onto Moonraker Way. Follow Moonraker Way until you reach the parking area for Split Apple Rock. The rock formation will be visible from the beach.
