From Tauranga city center, head to the nearest bus stop located at Willow Street. Take the Baybus Route 20 towards Rotorua. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the Ngongotahā Village stop. Once you get off, walk along Ngongotaha Road for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Adventure Playground located at 451 Ngongotaha Road.

If you are up for a longer walk, you can take a scenic route starting from the Tauranga waterfront. Walk along the Strand heading east, then continue to follow the path along the waterfront towards the Otumoetai area. From there, make your way to Ngongotahā, which will take around 3 to 4 hours. Be sure to bring water and snacks for the journey.
