From Tauranga city center, head to the Tauranga Central Bus Station located on Hamilton Street. Take the Bayhopper bus route 1 towards Mount Maunganui and get off at the 'Rotorua' bus stop. From there, transfer to the InterCity bus service heading to Rotorua. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Rotorua, walk to Fairy Springs Road, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, and follow the signs to 'Mitai Maori Village' located at 196 Fairy Springs Road.
