If you are in downtown Tauranga, head southeast on The Strand towards Devonport Road. Continue onto Spring Street and then turn left onto Monmouth Street. Walk down Monmouth Street for about 10 minutes. Monmouth Redoubt will be on your right at 13/15 Monmouth Street.

From downtown Tauranga, take the Bay Hopper bus service route 1 towards Mount Maunganui. Get off at the stop 'Monmouth Street' which is near the historical landmark. Walk a short distance towards Monmouth Street, and you will find Monmouth Redoubt at 13/15 Monmouth Street.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Tauranga. Start at The Strand and head southeast towards Devonport Road. Turn left onto Spring Street and then turn left onto Monmouth Street. Monmouth Redoubt will be on your right after about 10 minutes of biking.
