If you are starting from the Timaru city center, head south on Stafford Street towards the intersection with George Street. Turn left onto George Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with High Street. Cross over to High Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Selwyn Street. Turn right onto Selwyn Street and follow it until you reach the entrance to Centennial Park at Highfield. The park is located at the end of Highfield Road, and you will find signage indicating the entrance.

From the Timaru Bus Station, catch a bus heading towards Highfield. Make sure to check the local bus timetable for the most current routes. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the Highfield area. Disembark at the nearest stop to Highfield Road. From there, walk east towards Highfield Road, and follow the road until you reach Centennial Park. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the park entrance.
