Walking
If you are starting from the Timaru city center, head south on Stafford Street towards the intersection with The Terrace. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto King Street. Walk along King Street until you reach the intersection with Queen Street. Turn left onto Queen Street and continue walking until you arrive at the Timaru Botanic Gardens, located at Queen Street, Parkside, Timaru 7910. The gardens will be on your right.

From the Timaru city center, make your way to the nearest bus stop on Stafford Street. Look for a bus that heads towards Parkside. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when you reach Queen Street. Once you get off, walk a short distance down Queen Street, and you will see the entrance to the Timaru Botanic Gardens.
