From Waitomo Caves, head southeast on Waitomo Caves Road towards Te Anga Road. Continue for about 4 km until you reach the intersection with Waitomo Valley Road. Turn left onto Waitomo Valley Road. Continue along this road for approximately 6 km. You will see signs for Troll Cave. The entrance to Troll Cave is located at 1227 Waitomo Valley Road. There is parking available on site.

Take a bus from Waitomo Caves to Te Kuiti. The bus service is provided by InterCity or a similar provider. Once you arrive in Te Kuiti, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare to reach Troll Cave, as public transport options are limited in this area.
