From the center of Wanaka, head to the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located at 103 Ardmore Street. There, you can catch the bus to Arrowtown. The bus departs regularly, so check the current timetable for exact departure times. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Arrowtown, the bus will drop you off near the main street, where you can explore the charming village.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Wanaka. Follow the path along Lake Wanaka towards the Wanaka-Mount Aspiring Road. Continue on this road for approximately 20 kilometers. There are scenic viewpoints along the way, so take your time and enjoy the ride. Once you reach Arrowtown, lock your bike at one of the bike racks near the main street.
