From Wanaka, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Wanaka i-SITE' located on Ardmore Street. Board the bus operated by Connectabus that heads towards Queenstown. Ensure you check the bus schedule for the correct departure times. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. After arriving in Queenstown, disembark at the 'Queenstown Bus Station'. From there, you can use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Coronet Peak, which is about a 20-minute drive from the bus station. Make sure to mention 'Coronet Peak' to the driver.

Shuttle Service
You can book a shuttle service to Coronet Peak from Wanaka. Many local companies offer this service, and you can find them at the Wanaka i-SITE or online. The shuttle will pick you up from your accommodation or a designated pickup point in Wanaka. The drive to Coronet Peak will take around 1 hour, and the shuttle will drop you off at the base of the ski resort.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike in Wanaka and ride to Coronet Peak. Start from the Wanaka town center and head towards the Lake Wanaka waterfront, taking the scenic route along the lake. Follow the road signs towards Queenstown, then look for the signs directing you to Coronet Peak. The ride is approximately 23 km and can be quite challenging due to the uphill sections. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.
