Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Wellington Central area, head towards Cuba Street. From Cuba Street, walk towards Victoria Street and then take a left onto Johnston Street. Continue walking straight until you reach 12 Johnston Street, where Escape Mate is located. It should take you around 10-15 minutes on foot from Cuba Street.

• Bus

  If you are further away, catch a bus that goes towards the Wellington Central Business District. You can catch bus services from various locations around Wellington, such as the Wellington Railway Station. Ensure you get off at the stop closest to Johnston Street. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to 12 Johnston Street.

• Tram

  Take the Wellington Tram from the waterfront to the Cuba Street area. Once you arrive at the Cuba Street stop, exit the tram and walk towards Victoria Street. Turn left onto Johnston Street and continue until you reach 12 Johnston Street.

• Ride-sharing

  You can also use ride-sharing services like Uber or Ola. Simply input '12 Johnston Street, Wellington Central' as your destination in the app. The drivers are familiar with the area and can drop you off right outside Escape Mate.
