Sky Stadium: A Hub of Excitement in Wellington

Getting There

• Bus

  If you are in Wellington's central business district, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for buses that go to the 'Wellington Waterfront'. You can catch the number 1, 2, or 3 bus from stops along Lambton Quay. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Wellington Railway Station'. From the station, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs toward 'Sky Stadium'. It’s a short 10-minute walk across the bridge over the railway lines.

• Train

  From Wellington's central station, catch a train heading to 'Upper Hutt' or 'Wairarapa'. Disembark at the 'Wellington' station, which is a short walk from the stadium. Once you exit the station, head west toward the waterfront, turn right onto Waterloo Quay, and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach Sky Stadium at 105 Waterloo Quay.

• Walking

  If you're already in the central part of Wellington, you can walk to Sky Stadium. Start at Civic Square and head towards Victoria Street. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Once at the waterfront, turn left and walk along the water's edge. Follow the path along the waterfront until you reach Waterloo Quay. Sky Stadium will be directly in front of you at 105 Waterloo Quay.

• Cycling

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike share stations in the city. Head towards the waterfront, using the dedicated cycle paths. Once you reach the waterfront, follow it along until you arrive at Waterloo Quay. Sky Stadium will be on your right at 105 Waterloo Quay. There are bike racks available for parking your bike.
