Getting There

  • Car

    If you are in the West Coast region and traveling by car, start by heading north on State Highway 6 towards the town of Greymouth. From Greymouth, continue on State Highway 7 towards Christchurch. After approximately 38 km, you will reach the junction at Kumara Junction. Take the left turn onto State Highway 73 towards Christchurch. After about 10 km, turn right onto State Highway 1 towards Auckland. Follow this highway until you reach the junction for State Highway 20, which will take you into Auckland. Once you are in Auckland, follow the signs for State Highway 1 south, then take the exit for State Highway 20A towards Auckland Airport. After passing the airport, follow the signs for State Highway 20 towards Manukau. Continue on this road until you reach the exit for Manukau Heads Road (State Highway 20B). Follow Manukau Heads Road for about 15 km until you arrive at 759 Manukau Heads Road, where the lighthouse is located.
