Car

If you are driving from anywhere in the West Coast, take State Highway 6 (SH6) towards Greymouth. From Greymouth, continue on SH6 until you reach the junction with State Highway 7 (SH7). At this junction, take SH7 towards Christchurch. After about 90 km, you will reach the town of Springfield. From Springfield, take State Highway 73 (SH73) towards Christchurch. This highway will eventually lead you to the city of Christchurch. Once in Christchurch, follow the signs to State Highway 1 (SH1) heading north towards Auckland. Continue on SH1 until you reach Auckland City. Once you arrive in Auckland, follow the signs to the Central Business District (CBD), where the Sky Tower is located at Victoria Street West, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010.

To reach Sky Tower via public transport, start by taking a bus from your location in the West Coast to Christchurch. Check the local bus service for schedules and routes. Once in Christchurch, you can take a domestic flight to Auckland. The flight takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. After arriving at Auckland Airport, take the SkyBus, which runs regularly to the Auckland CBD. The fare for the SkyBus is approximately NZD 18 one-way. Once you arrive at the SkyCity bus terminal in Auckland CBD, Sky Tower is just a short walk away, located at Victoria Street West. Follow the signs to reach the tower.
