From the Whanganui city center, start at the Whanganui Riverbank. Head west along the river path until you reach the intersection with Victoria Avenue. Turn left onto Victoria Avenue and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the intersection with Wilson Street, turn right. Continue straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Castlecliff Road. After approximately 500 meters, turn left onto Thatcher Street. Lundon Park will be on your right at 20 Thatcher Street.

From the Whanganui city center, head to the main bus stop located at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Guyton Street. Take the bus that goes towards Castlecliff. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the specific route that serves Thatcher Street. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop nearest to Thatcher Street. Walk along Thatcher Street heading towards the sea; Lundon Park will be located on your left at 20 Thatcher Street.
