    Start from the Whanganui i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 31 Taupo Quay, Whanganui. Head south on Taupo Quay toward Victoria Avenue. Continue straight onto Victoria Avenue, which becomes Churton Street. Once you reach the intersection with Papaiti Road, turn right onto Papaiti Road. Continue walking for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach Mosquito Point at 427 Papaiti Road. The path is primarily along the roadside with some pedestrian pathways. Ensure to follow the road signs along the way.

  • Biking

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Whanganui River and follow the river pathway heading south. This scenic route will take you through parks and along the riverbank. After about 4 kilometers, you will reach Papaiti Road. Turn left onto Papaiti Road and continue for another 1 kilometer until you arrive at Mosquito Point.
