Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Whanganui City Centre, specifically from the Whanganui Riverbank. Head west along the river towards Victoria Avenue. Once you reach Victoria Avenue, turn right and walk along the avenue until you reach the intersection with London Street. Turn left onto London Street. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Springvale Park at 220 London Street. The park will be on your left.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start at the Whanganui Riverbank and head west towards Victoria Avenue. Turn right at Victoria Avenue and ride straight until you reach the intersection with London Street. Turn left onto London Street and continue biking for about 1.5 kilometers. Springvale Park will be located on your left at 220 London Street.

  From Whanganui City Centre, catch the local bus service that runs towards Springvale. You can check the local bus schedule for the most current routes. Get off the bus at the stop closest to London Street, then walk down London Street for about 500 meters until you reach Springvale Park at 220 London Street.
