Car
If you are traveling by car from the main access points in Apoyo Lagoon, start by heading to the main road leading out of the lagoon area. Follow the signs towards Masaya. After approximately 10-15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with the Carretera Masaya-Nandaime (Nicaragua Highway 7). Turn left onto this highway. Continue driving for about 5 kilometers until you see a sign for 'La Pila-Diriá' on your right. Turn onto the road indicated by the sign and follow it for about 2 kilometers. You will arrive at La Pila-Diriá, located at the coordinates (11.8981318, -86.0474519). There is no specific parking fee, but be cautious of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, first, take a bus from the Apoyo Lagoon area to Masaya. Buses run frequently and the fare is around 20-30 Cordobas (approximately $0.60 - $1.00 USD). Once you arrive in Masaya, you need to find a bus heading towards Nandaime.
