Walking
From the center of Masaya, head south on Avenida 1ra Calle Sur until you reach the junction with Calle 7ma Avenida Sur. Turn right onto Calle 7ma Avenida Sur and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards Mombacho. Follow the signs which will guide you to the entrance of Mombacho Volcano National Park.
Local Bus
From the main bus terminal in Masaya, take a local bus heading towards Granada. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Mombacho Volcano. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the path leading to the entrance of Mombacho Volcano National Park.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Masaya. Start from Parque Central in Masaya and head south on Avenida 1ra Calle Sur. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach Calle 7ma Avenida Sur. Turn right and follow the road as it leads you to Mombacho. It's a scenic ride, and you should see signs guiding you to the volcano along the way.
